Wes Ames is an Associate Technical Fellow (ATF), and Security Architect in the Boeing Computing Security Infrastructure (CSI) organization. His current assignment is Endpoint Security Architecture coordination for Boeing PCs in collaboration with CSI Infrastructure Protection Systems, and multiple internal Boeing programs. Published works include “Spyware: Risk and Response,” published in IT Professional, the journal of the IEEE Computer Society.

Previously, Wes managed the Bellevue Network Control Center (NCC). This is the largest NCC in Boeing and one of the ten largest NCCs in private industry. The Bellevue NCC is responsible for maintaining connectivity between all of the Puget Sound Boeing sites and the worldwide Boeing Enterprise. Wes is an active member of the selection committee for the Technical Fellowship Program and is an Associate Technical Fellow.
