Terry McQuay is the founder of Nymity and heads a team of research lawyers and privacy experts. For the last three years he has developed and delivered privacy training to hundreds of organizations making him the leading privacy educator in Canada. Mr. McQuay, is the Canadian Chair of the International Association of Privacy Professionals‘ KnowledgeNet and a Certified Information Privacy Professional. Mr. McQuay is on IBM‘s Privacy Manager Council and on the Canadian Marketing Association‘s Ethics and Privacy Committee. Mr. McQuay is one of Canada‘s leading authorities on privacy risk mitigation. As such, Mr. McQuay is one of Canada‘s most prolific and versatile privacy speakers and has appeared at a wide variety of conferences including events held by: Ontario Bar Association, International Association of Privacy Professionals, Canadian Marketing Association, The Canadian Institute, Direct Marketing News, Association for the Advancement of Relationship Marketing, and the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals in Business. Mr. McQuay has a monthly column in IAPP Privacy Advisory and has been published by Data Protection Law & Policy, a UK Privacy Journal and Rutgers Journal of Law and Urban Policy.
