Mr. Stewart is a Senior Manager in the Forensic & Dispute Services practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP in Edmonton. Mr. Stewart specializes in forensic investigations, computer forensic services; forensic accounting reviews and is experienced in conducting investigative interviews. Mr. Stewart assists clients identify fraud, waste and abuse through the implementation of high-tech investigative analytical technology and methodologies. He is a leader in the provision of Deloitte’s DTectSM investigative database services and Forensic Audit Assist services in Canada.
Mr. Stewart has conducted multiple complex fraud investigations and managed engagement teams to identify; intellectual property theft, prime bank instrument fraud, secret commissions kickbacks & bribery, conflict of interest concerns, identity theft, asset misappropriation schemes and management fraud.
Before joining Deloitte, Mr. Stewart worked in private industry in the United Kingdom, as an internal auditor for Shell U.K. Exploration & Production. Mr. Stewart has several years’ experience in healthcare where he monitored the financial performance of hospital and healthcare facilities.
