William S. Riippi is a Partner for MTG Management Consultants, focusing on biometric and identification card solutions to combat fraud and abuse in human services programs. Mr. Riippi has worked in the technology field since 1978 and has over 10 years of biometric technology-related experience for human services and public safety applications. His broad expertise includes project management, system integration, secure systems operation and maintenance, customer support, and integrating fingerprint identification products and biometric technology into both law enforcement and non-law enforcement markets within North America. An Acclaimed Industry Expert and Speaker, Mr. Riippi presented to the CXO and director level in relation to the implementation of information systems for both public and private industry. He presented at several AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems) user group conferences for state and local government in regard to biometric system functionality, operations, and management. Mr. Riippi has a Master of Science degree in system management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington.
