Rebecca J. Whitener is responsible for creating the strategy and business plan for privacy services and assisting with the development of innovative security, privacy, and business continuity offerings and methodologies across EDS. She has worked with major companies around the world to help develop solutions for the management of information assets. She works with teams to build innovative solutions for business problems and conducts client workshops to help with sales pursuits. A recognized authority in security and privacy solutions, Ms. Whitener was appointed in 2000 to the Federal Trade Commission Advisory Committee for Online Access and Security. She has authored articles for professional publications and is a recipient of the Outstanding Discussion Leader Award from the North Carolina Association of CPAs. She belongs to the Institute of Internal Auditors, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of CPAs, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Information System Audit and Control Association.
