Mr. Miller is an innovative and creative entrepreneur who has founded a number of successful Information Technology companies in the software, wireless, and Internet related sectors. Mr. Miller’s wide ranging experience as a high technology executive includes over 20 years of direct P & L responsibility. Mr. Miller, or corporations founded by him, have been the subject of articles in The Nation’s Business, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times and many other publications, and he has been featured on numerous radio and television programs in the US and Canada. Mr. Miller holds two US patents relating to electronic messaging systems and the Internet. Mr. Miller recently served as a director of Workfire Technologies, which was acquired by Packeteer, Inc. Mr. Miller was an early founder of E-Voice (formerly Talk Star) which received venture funding from Idealab!, Nokia Venture Partners, Oak Investment Partners, and Worldview Technology Partners, and was subsequently acquired by AOL Time Warner Inc. Mr. Miller also served as a director of Ezenet Inc., which was publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange and was subsequently acquired by Cognicase Inc. Mr. Miller recently served as a Director and Vice Chairman of Mulgrave School, a K to 12 independent school based in West Vancouver, British Columbia.
